You make the most of it while you're there - plain and simple. Having studied animation both in school and on my own, I can tell you there is a TON of information on the web you can use to supplement your schooling. All you need concern yourself with is being the best animator you can be. Trust me in that companies like Pixar look for people who can animate and who have their act together. The bells and whistles don't matter. And if you find out that your college really isn't up to snuff - you've always got options, including online courses/colleges - especially this one: http://animationmentor.com/ Oh John…. look - piece of advice - don’t worry about stuff that’s out of your control.
