A quick note for my RSS readers. From this point forward, the comic strip postings will be preceded by the strip number. So you’ll know what is a comic posting and what is a blog posting. (So this is a blog posting).

MTV just launched a site with tons of music videos. In the 80s and early 90s, MTV was a great place to see bands you liked and even a way to discover new music. It’s how I found out about one of my favorite bands below, Kings X. MTV is a joke now, obviously. But now you can see some pretty good stuff online for free.

ray cokes here! i loved it. :)
but, as good things tend to commercialise, and from then it’s a quick way to the gutter.

Them were the good ole days. Oh, those old videos. The Cars. The Police. Living Color. Fishbone. A-ha. So cheesy. So un-marketing department. So fun.

Cinderella’s Shake Me video just rocked. After seeing it the first time, I took a day and sat with a tape in the VCR ready to hit record as soon as it came on again so I could watch them flip their guitars over their shoulders over and over. Hair metal rules!

Ya had to love hair metal. I used to have a whole VCR tape of videos from Headbanger’s Ball – it’s still around somewhere.
