A ray of hope for John… and a gleam of information about where Ugo is from. Why didn’t he mention this before, we wonder?

I’ve tried some newer inking and coloring techniques with this strip, let me know what you think (or if you even notice it).

Congrats to Karen for winning the $25 Barnes and Noble card! Using the word “Splenderful” tipped the balance in her favor!

    it’s a lot more settled than your first ones. the little lines that you use as shading add to the authenticity. in short, keep up the good work!

    Let’s just hope it’s not JIM Thorpe… it would be hard to live inside a great athlete… or to put a Taco Bell there…

    Why do I get the feeling we’re about to meet a whole bunch of characters and see a whole bunch of domociles? :) Roll on, Major Tom. This is good stuff, and it’s beginning to roll. Would love to see you do more per week… Come on, man - yer STARVIN’ US!!! heh heh…

    I know, I know! Your insight is certainly in the ballpark. Trust me I’m working as I hard as I can to build a buffer so I can go to twice per week. I’m actually going on a business trip this week, so I’ll have some time on the plane and while there to do lots of writing and sketching. I’ve got my process down now, and I really think I can do it. I just want to have a good run in my hand so I don’t commit too soon.

    It’s driving me nuts only posting once per week too. I want to move things along into what I think are better strips than what is up there now!

    Finally had time to read the archives! I really enjoy your story and characters- this is going to be a lot of fun. I hope that John isn’t too surprised by what the ‘food’ turns out to be… ^_^
