Well tighten my bolts and shock my motherboard, Marooned has made the top 10 in Bomb Shelter Comics Webcomic Idol competition! I believe there were over 100 entrants. The other 9 are certainly good stuff, I’m frankly amazed I made the list - there was some great comics there. Xylia is on there, who I just wrote about, as well as Tony Piro’s Calamaties of Nature, Brock Heasely’s Superfogeys and The Book of Biff - all great people.

I’ll keep you all posted on what goes on. I’m not even sure what the next steps are, but it does involve review by the judges and then voting for comics to be out, not in. Quite honestly this is not something I should win looking at the others, but it’s great to get in and I will get some valuable feedback from the judges.

I’ve already mentioned I recently opened up the Marooned Forum. Today I wanted to announce a new contest to give away another signed, limited edition print of the “What Else?” strip. All you have to do is go to the forum, sign up and make a post. That’s it. I’ll give you a week to do it, and I’ll pick a random person next week to get the print.

Regarding the webcomic idol, I believe I have made it to round three, but I am waiting for them to update the contest. I’ll keep you posted.
