Also, the "between the gutters" sequence that takes place between panel five and six, where John is trying to squish his big head through the little hole in his fishbowl helmet, would be pretty funny to see... but only as an extra-- I wouldn't include it in a regular strip. Although adding a sort of "shhhhlorp!" sound effect to hint at it would be kind of amusing. :-) The double strip format is definitely better for this kind of humor!
