Just a fun little idea I whipped up last night. There’s nothing like the feeling of clearing the driveway of snow – I’ve always loved it. Maybe this is John’s cousin.

Hey it’s always nice to have a bit of fun. I’m not sure I’d consider shoveling snow fun, but I suppose somebody has to like it. If I had a driveway, and I lived someplace where it snowed, I’d be glad to hand you the shovel!
Well depicted! Yes, there have been times in my life (almost all spent in the snowy north, so far) when I’ve felt that sense of satisfaction, of having conquered Nature. With a recent back injury, and gettin’ close to retirement age, those moments at the end of the driveway may be gone now.
I’ve had that sense of satisfaction – at least until the snow plow comes by and fills the end of the driveway back up with slush and ice.
well do!
There can be a sort of satisfaction to it, but I’d say it doesn’t take long to get old. Having to do it every morning after a pitch black morning and evenings too takes the thrill out of it fast. Also depends on what kind of snow it is. The fine, powdery cold weather snow I don’t mind, but I hate the wet and heavy snow, especially when there’s a lot of it.
