Well, the Ashcan has done even better than I had hoped. Because I’ve given a few away to friends and for promo purposes (and kept one for myself), there is only one copy left – with a caveat.

The deal is that I have sent 5 copies over to HeavyInk on consignment. I’m hoping to get some exposure over there, and they set up a free little webstore for me as well as send out the comic. Because they will originate from there, I can’t include an artist card. Those are literally the last 5 copies of the first printing. The store is not yet up, it will be hopefully sometime this week.

I have one copy left at home, which will include an artist sketch with the order. So if you want that little extra, grab that copy from my store page.

What about after the last 5 sell? It looks like for now, I will NOT be doing another Ashcan version, but rather a standard comic size version instead. I’ll be using Ka-Blam to print them up. So these Ashcan’s might turn out to be something fairly unique, I don’t know that I will ever do them again.

Marooned #2 is also going to be printed via Ka-Blam in standard comic book size. My hope is to include more pages in #2, including a couple more bonus pages of development work or sketches. I’m just starting that one now, although it takes awhile to put together and I have another project I just picked up (which I will explain another day when I get more info).

So – options if you want what will probably be the last of the Ashcans: wait until the HeavyInk store goes up and grab one of those 5 copies. No artist card included. Grab the last copy I have with me, and get the last artists card.
