Once again, I must show how my daughter kicks my butt artistically. We talked about proportions over the last week, and she applied what she learned here and really knocked it out of the park. This is one of my favorite pieces from here, from the illustration to the inking and coloring. I just love it. I’m off to vacation now, talk to you all real soon!

I really like what she did with the hair. You have to be pretty observant to try to draw hair in that style.

My son is trying his hand at a manga class and after just a few lessons he can alreday produce better work that I did at his age (and almost at any age) I bet you feel as proud when you see the potential in your daughter (who did a great job) as I feel when I see my son’s drawings.
Yesterday, my daughters ‘illustrated’ a ‘book’ my wife wrote and they did surprisingly well, considering they are 9 and 6.
