The key part of the story starts here. If you want, you can start all the way at the beginning of the story.
About Palace in the Sky
Palace in the Sky is a great webcomic collective that presents quality comics in a variety of genres. If you have a comic you can find out about joining up.
This is like one of those Underdog episodes where it all looks doom and gloom. We need to get John some red and blue pajamas.

john got “wopped” which is never a good thing.
oh yes, since ril has the cube, may i offer some advice…”RUN!”
bob got bent some sproickets
Wha–?! What happened?
BTW love the mystery-pass-out-ink-bubbles.
Thanks Danny, I wasn’t sure if it would work or not, and I was freaked out about doing it because once I did it – there was no going back! (I inked it that way).
WOP is my new favorite sound effect!
Originally I thought the bubbles were science magic from Ril fiddling with the puzzle, but the text in the last panel corrected me a second later. I think I assumed she was fiddling with it because she was touching it with both hands in the third-to-last (fourth? fifth?) panel.
Filling in the last O was an excellent choice!
Thanks Kelsey – I am so glad you noticed the “O”
I like to put stuff like that in, always hoping someone will catch on to the little stuff.
I can tell you that this is a pivotal moment in the story. Stay tuned.
that looks like a different cube to me…
and is john’s eye an x
Okay Daniel, you have earned the nickname “Eagle Eye” – you don’t miss anything! John is squinting his one eye, but it came out looking weird when reduced.
I colored the cube a bit different yes, but it’s the same cube.
Love the way you handled the last two panels. Very cinematic.
Thanks Mike, exactly what I was going for.
Enjoyed the expression on Ugo’s face in the penultimate pic – he doesn’t look too worried!
