I made a continuity mistake on the last strip, thanks to Steve for pointing it out. Her memory of the conversation with Silex was 15 years prior, shortly after she landed. Her hair would have been much shorter then (much like in Payload). So I went back and fixed that, which was kind of crucial because there’s supposed to be this transition between the last panel of that strip and the first panel of this one, where the difference is mostly the length of her hair. So view the last strip to get an updated look.
I’m still a bit in uncharted waters here with this confrontation between Lian and Voon, but it’s slowly moving back to where things were planned. Lian states the stone only blocks her outward powers. That jives with her being able to contact John and cry out for help when she was first imprisoned by Voon.
Speaking of Steve, two things of note. First, Moon Town has… REBOOTED. Yep, you read that right. If you missed my blog on it, just go and check out the new and improved Moon Town. Steve explains on his own site.
Secondly, due to the heavy workload rebooting Moon Town, Steve won’t able to work on the book we had planned. I’m trying to figure out a way to still complete the book, however. I’ve got a feeler out to another artist to step in, I’ll keep you posted.

Nice adjustment on her hair, buddy boy. And Lian looks better in the second panel of today’s strip than I’ve ever seen her. She looks very natural and alive. You’ve come a long way.
Sorry about Payload 2. I really wanted to work on that.
Thanks bud! No worries on the book man.
I love panel 5…that cold, silent panel does a nice job of building tension.
Leverage!
Ooooo… methinks she has a plan.
Glad someone does.
