A little bonus comic today for you all! I’ve waxed poetic many times about my love of Peanuts. And I especially love Christmas time with the music and the greatest Christmas special of all time. I had never tried my hand at drawing the characters, though. Almost any artist will tell you they are notoriously hard to execute properly. Great simple designs are tricky to do right.
But while I was sitting and enjoying reading some Peanuts on my break, I got an idea for a strip, and I thought it would be fun to do, so here it is. I hope you enjoy it! I had loads of fun doing it. I’m actually okay with the drawing, too.
I don’t recall many strips Schulz did about the internet, as it came late in his career. But this seemed appropriate.

Love it!!!
Perfecto, dude!
ha! Great job!
Awesome-O!
Thanks everyone!
TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!! No freakin’ way! This is A-MAZING man!! HA HA HA! I hopped on over here and I’m very much listening to Vince Guaraldi too! HA! This made my day! Bravo!
Thanks Denver!
That was so much like Schultz’s brand of humor that I was wondering what happened for a second. Of course, if I was really paying attention, I would have noticed that the lines weren’t shaky, as his later cartoons got to be. This is fantastic!
Thanks Leshka, that’s quite a compliment! Yes, he later had the shaky hand that gave him that distinctive line that cannot be reproduced. And yet still drew as a master. Amazing.
I dare say you’ve captured Schulz’s ‘Spark’! Good job.
Works for me!
