This week I got a surprise in my inbox – a guest comic by Don Oskowski of Conduit Flux! Don shows us a little bit more of the conversation that happened on the day our heroes landed on Mars. Fun stuff! I always love seeing other artist’s take on my characters.
As I said, Don does his own fun Sci-Fi comic too, called Conduit Flux, also humor mixed with story. Go over and have a look!
Thanks Don!
Story Progress Update
So this week I made really good progress, especially Wednesday and Thursday, in shoring things up. I even got some sketching in. I’m at the point now where I need to work out some details in order to begin writing scripts. I also have to finalize some designs (including one big one.)
In regard to the self-contained strips… they were fun. But they aren’t what I really enjoy doing, as much as telling stories and having characters evolve and change. I still may do little bits of that here and there, but I think my focus will always be stories.
So regarding next week, there probably won’t be anything unless I come up with something last minute. My hope is that I can finish preparing next week to start up the strip again on Monday the 11th. So thanks for your patience in advance, hopefully it will be worth the wait. Have a great weekend!

That’s an awesome guest comic!
But since John gets it, that must mean Asimov’s sensor is broken.
Nice take on John and Asimov.
John might get it, but he’s pretty slow on the uptake in this one . . .
@bman – Thanks! Glad you like it.
@Uhl – Valid point
@Mike M – For the longest time I wanted to do something involving Asimov. Tom’s characters are so fun to draw!
@Tom – Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the link back to Conduit Flux!
Fun! =o)
don, since you label this guest comic “Day One” i now expect many more marooned guest strips from you. the next one could be labeled “Day Two” for example.
i will definitely be reading some conduit flux…more sci-fi comics, more more more!
“There probably won’t be anything?” Gah! *rushes off to do a guest strip*
Definitely feel free to send me stuff!
It would definitely fun to do a guest strip for Marooned
What’s stopping you?!
