There’s a new webcomic in town, and boy is it a doozy! The super talented Doug TenNapel has thrown his hat into the ring. Free comics from Doug TenNapel?! Get me over there!
You may know Doug from his fantastically successful creation of the Earthworm Jim character from one of the biggest video games ever. Or maybe you know him from one of his TEN graphic novels he’s completed (zoikes!)
Last year I bought his Gear graphic novel and just loved it – both the art style and the storytelling are amazing.
As you can see by the two graphics above, Doug does some beautiful work. Talent like that with a brush doesn’t come easy, but Doug makes it come alive. The story is only on page 8, but we’ve already got a character we’re interested in, at least two mysteries and some action! This story isn’t messing around!
Ratfist has already become a staple in my mornings. Do yourself a favor and head over there right now and start reading, because you won’t be disappointed! Ratfist looks like it’s going to be a great one.
