In case you haven’t noticed, Hogan is a real nerdboy when it comes to his fellow robots. He’s such a fan, in fact, that he once stole an early blueprint page from the Nanoganics engineers, and he’s carried it around with him ever since. He keeps it in a very secret place. soo, that makes asimov a… series-7 d3-y c4-x variant robot. also, noticed max’s body design. wasn’t he (or it?) made by a rival company?
Cool to see this. Looks like two-wheeled robots were long-since discontinued before 2064
Max? Perhaps you mean Bob. And no, it was Nanoganics that made him, too. Keep in mind these are very early designs, so the designation may not be accurate. Although it may be close..
ooh, sorry! bob. bob. not max. what was i thinking?
This reminds me of some of my old “learn to draw” books. The ones that had different monster and robot parts that could be mixed and matched together. So I decided to drawn a Series 1-D on a A1-Y with a D1-X (with a little artistic license) … I guess I like circles… On another note, I noticed that the Series 5-U is crossed out, why might that be?
Well, where is it?! Can we see or what? Send it to me! (pixelmech at gee mail dot com).
Regarding 5-U. Hm. Good question
I’ll work on getting that to you. I actually just stumbled onto the Series 2 Prime poster about a minute ago, and I see its parts are on here too; that’s a nice bit of connectedness.
Mix and match and make your own… there are thousands of models available!
heh heh… Love the look of this one. Now, see? This is *exactly* the kind of content our lucky subscribers would get for one Low Low Price. Make it so! Engage!
This is like getting ice cream when you didn’t know you were getting ice cream!
Glad you like it guys! And yeah, this is just the thing, Og.
Maybe bachterman was thinking of the 1979 movie “The Black Hole”, which featured an evil robot named Max, as well as another robot named Bob. Apparently, these are popular names for robot parents to name their kids.
I agree with Jim! =o) This is brilliant!
