World Animation Day is coming up on October 28. The National Film Board is celebrating it with a 13-city tour of Get Animated!, a series of free public screenings from the NFB’s Oscar-winning animation studios. Get Animated! will showcase amazing new creations from Canada’s public producer, for young and old, from October 22 to November 9, 2008. If only I lived in Canada that week.
In any event, check out this awesome free animation they posted called Flutter by Howie Shia. You’ll have to decide on your own what it’s about, but the visual presentation and animation style are just wonderful.
