One of the things that the survey for book 2 is showing (you have taken it, right? If not please do) is that people definitely want that extra Marooned story in there. Luckily, I had written one some time ago (with Steve Ogden helping with editing) for the book. Last night I started on the first page – the title panel. I had a lot of fun doing it, especially doing the building in perspective, something I rarely do (too time consuming, mostly).

Evasive Maneuvers is the story of how John and Asimov meet, and will be exclusively in Volume 2 only. (I’ll be posting the results of the survey in the next week-ish.)

Awesome, I may have said this before, but origin stories are always radical, with the exception of Episodes 1-3 of that other space opera.
