Over the summer, longtime fan Larry Brommer approached me with an idea for a Marooned commission. He wanted a comic book cover with the Marooned characters taking a photo, and John running into the frame like he decided at the last moment to be a part of it. We tossed about some ideas and then I put a sketch together, and over the course of a couple months (slow, I know – it’s been busy!) I put the piece together. I’m pretty happy with how it came out, and it seems Larry is, too. He’s going to have a print made and hang it up in his house. What an honor! Thanks so much, Larry, for giving me the chance to do this.
