53 – A Villian’s Weakness

No… he’s not gonna fall for the ol’ “defenseless children” trick, is he?

Note: I’ve finally decided to open the Marooned Forums – head on over and take a look.

the ole “hiding a rock behind my back” trick.
that’s how i got my wife.

  4. Tom

LOL Tyler, hey you do what you gotta do!

  5. Tom

I forgot to mention folks – the Marooned forums are now open – click the Forums tab in the nav up top.

  6. Wit

I like the use of the black text bubbles for eeevil.

  7. Tom

Thankya. And to think in the first version I posted, I forgot them! I just fixed it. How embarass-sking.

  8. Salvatore Iovene

What??? Why is hi smiling when he says that Asimov got shot?

  9. Tom

Yeah – he’s not supposed to be smiling. It’s supposed to be more of a grimace. Poorly executed on my part. :(

  10. Chris

Good point the black bubbles for evil are a nice touch.

Lol! It’s nice to see John asserting himself. If someone beat up my sardonic robot buddy, I’d be pretty angry too.

    “Hey look! More defenseless children!”

captain john now is not the time to be sightseeing

I don’t want to be a downer, but you might want to have less sections to your forum. It’s just too much clicking to get through. Even much more popular webcomics like Book of Biff, Octopus Pie, Wondermark, etc., only have one forum thread. Just a thought.

  14. Tom

Yes, John is not happy with the way things have went!
    @Kelsey – LOL
@Tony – I’ll take a look at those other forums. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Me too!

  16. Tom

Bob’s a hit… he should put out an album!

  17. Evan

I gotta say that at first I thought that John was holding a sponge behind his back.

  18. Tom

Sponges can be dangerous too, right?

  19. Evan

    Oh, you better believe it!
