82 – Dancing

Lots of fun doing this one. Took inspiration from my daughters for Ril. I’ve been wanting to play around with more creative panel layouts, and this one gave me the opportunity to do so.

    I’m viewing this on my iPhone and it looks excellent!! Anyway, lovely job with the panel layout. I really love Ril’s color and how it contrasts with the rest of the colors ok the strip – it really comes across that she’s young and playful. Very nice!!

    Haha! The iPhone has zoom yaknow! ;) Otherwise it’s just has a regular functional browser like on a computer (safari, of course, not like regular mobile browsers).

    Ril is skipping along right? or is she dancing? I like the idea of her tra la la skipping along.

    And the style of the comic is great, nice use of frames and coloring

    She’s kind of dancing and skipping. A good way to keep up with Asimov :)

    I got my comic today. It’s awesome. I especially like the coloring of the cover. And the commentary is detailed and insightful. Definitely not just throwaway comments.

    I suggest everyone buys a copy and see if we can make Tom do a second printing!

    Thank you Gio! Very kind of you. Coloring is done in good ol’ Photoshop. I use a Bamboo Wacom – I’m new to it but really enjoying it.

    Of just the top four or the whole thing? Might be neat to have just the top four. I have to look into doing some kind of print on demand or something. It’s on my list.

    Amazing stuff, love the style, the color, excellent! Liking the glow around the alien dude, too.. nice touch.
