Hehe – yeah, boy Kelsey you spot everything. It’s a bit of homage, and also it’s a bit of a possibly temporary solution in showing John with more than just an angry expression. The ‘dot’ eyes present some issues.
The third martian in the fourth panel, I love his expression. You’re really nailing their “performances.” For a bunch of naked guys with a single eyeball, they really get the message a across; they’ve got range.
Excellent work. I am planning on releasing my comic strip (Midtoon) in January and can relate to the pain of trying to find time to work on it. I still haven’t gone online with Midtoon.com and I am already nehind schedule.
