Captain John Trumps NASA, Finds Water on Mars First!

Friday, August 1st, 2008

This morning NASA is confirming that the Pheonix Mars Lander has identified water in a soil sample. Well DUH! I mean did we not just see here on MONDAY Captain John confirming that water does indeed exist on Mars, not only for hydroponic foods but also hot tubs?

John may be marooned on Mars, but he knows his science! Now where you going to go for your Mars news - some silly decripit and bloated space organization like NASA or the Captain John and the New Frontier Federation?

I think you know!

Family Art Lesson: Cat

Saturday, August 2nd, 2008

We all love to draw at my house. Often we’ll have family art lessons, where each person shows everyone how to draw something they like. Thursday night my daughter Amanda taught us all how to draw this cat. I love doing these little art lessons because my girls are super creative and they come up with great designs - and they get me to draw these things I would never come up with on my own.

Here’s my version of what she taught us to draw.

A Tribute to Leela from Doctor Who

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

I had to post this cool little tribute to Leela from Doctor Who. The first episode I ever watched when I was in high school was the one where Leela meets the Doctor - the best Doctor in Tom Baker. I was hooked on that show from that episode on. I really miss watching that show. I spent many a late Sunday night at 11 p.m. in the Chicago suburbs watching that show with a snack. Enjoy.
