Previously on Marooned…
While attempting to send a message to Earth, John fell ill. Ugo brought him to the Volotrum (also called The Dark Ones), his only remaining chance to be healed. The Listener, an apprentice of the Dark Ones – a human woman named Lian Fisher who crashed on Mars years ago – agreed to heal John. In doing so, she fell into some kind of coma – but returned in the nick of time with miraculous powers to help defeat the lizard-like Krosa. In the battle, Ugo’s wounds have revealed him as some kind of robot or machine, making Captain John more confused than ever! Ugo is now explaining what happened to Mars – and how he came to be.
New Readers
Marooned is a longform comic with multiple interweaving stories. The current storyline starts right here, when Captain John becomes ill. Still further back, you can begin reading where Captain John begins to realize he may have been duped into piloting a failed mission. That is the point at which the story of Marooned begins to grow. But for the full experience, you could read from the beginning. Be sure to check out the about page, which explains the story and the main characters.

Only Council members have the head band gizmo?
Looks like the Doctor has his own plan B.
The head band gizmo has many uses, one of which is recording conversations. That was the use of it in the council. It’s not something everyone has or uses all the time. Think of it as a very expensive iPhone.
Hmmm…
thinking thinking.
Don’t get it!
Like Small Pearl said, the Doctor has his own plan B. Tune in tomorrow for more.
The red ones seem to be female, is that universal?
Ugo is Dr U’s plan B?
Partly.
