170 – Higher Life Forms

Previously on Marooned…

While attempting to send a message to Earth, John fell ill. Ugo brought him to the Volotrum (also called The Dark Ones), his only remaining chance to be healed. The Listener, an apprentice of the Dark Ones – a human woman named Lian Fisher who crashed on Mars years ago – agreed to heal John. In doing so, she fell into some kind of coma – but returned in the nick of time with miraculous powers to help defeat the lizard-like Krosa. In the battle, Ugo’s wounds have revealed him as some kind of robot or machine, making Captain John more confused than ever!

Poor John, he really IS the last man on the planet and still can’t get a date.

  2. Major Tom

How about it, that’s pretty tough on the ego eh?

  3. Og

I know, right? And when she says “I’m not”, I bet John heard “I’m hot”. Yeah… heh heh

  4. Major Tom

LOL, yeah – I’m hot – and I’m not coming with you sport.

  5. Dvon

    “You guys need go back”
Oh darn! Does anyone see my missing infinitive? Watch where you step! I’m sure I had it before the fight — well, pretty sure anyway. Keep looking! It’s not like I can go back to Earth for a replacement.

  6. Matt

Oh I knew her in High School.

  7. Chris

Uh-oh a showdown between the male and female humans. Somehow I think John will fair much worse than Lian will.

  8. Major Tom

Poor John seems to get the worse of everything :)

  9. 3DWyrm

Nice, but Dvon’s right. Lian’s missing a grammatically important word.

  10. Major Tom

Yep – I gotta fix that. Deadlines and all. Thanks for pointing it out :)
