146 – All We’ve Got

RSS readers may have noticed some additions to the feed. I’m also trying to add a direct link to the comments so you can just click and add a comment if you like.

Regarding the book, we’re still a couple weeks away yet from sending out for proofs, but things are looking good. I have nearly all the guest art and it looks great. I’m thinking next week I will post a free PDF preview of the book so you can get a sneak peek!

The new site is under development and is going well. I made good progress over the weekend, so it may show up soon.

I also made some progress on the buffer, which is encouraging. I penciled two extra strips and began coloring them. Breaking it up into chunks has helped. I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to build up a buffer maybe sooner than I thought.

Previously on Marooned…

While attempting to send a message to Earth, John fell ill. Ugo brought him to the Volotrum (also called The Dark Ones), his only remaining chance to be healed. The Listener, an apprentice of the Dark Ones – a human woman named Lian Fisher who crashed on Mars years ago – agreed to heal John, and apparently did so. In doing so, she has fallen into some kind of coma.

New Readers

The current storyline starts right here, or you can read from the beginning. Be sure to check out the about page, which explains the story and the main characters.

Thanks, it’s supposed to look like something is about to happen. I’m not sure how clear that is though. So in case it’s not – something is about to happen! :D

Man I looked at some of your earliest comics and it is incredible how well your drawing “skittles” have improved!

  6. tdellaringa

    Thank you Thomas! :)

Are you still putting out the Facebook links to this? I’ve been missing them and I forget about the new comics without the “primer”.

  8. JavaScott

    ^ WTH is that icon??

  9. tdellaringa

I recently disconnected the RSS feed from FB since my blog posts were giving screwed up links. But I know some people were using that, so I will figure out a way to get it back in there :)

LOL, it’s you! It’s just a default set for people who don’t have a Gravatar icon set up. I like how your brain is on the outside of your body. Very nice.

Yes, I need to air my brain out once a quarter. Enjoy.
