134 – Insanity Insurance

Remember to connect the first panel here with the last one from Monday. And remember what condition Lian is in.

Marooned was featured in Webcomic Wednesday on Fandomania yesterday. It’s a mini review and interview. Check it out.

Previously on Marooned…

While attempting to send a message to Earth, John fell ill. Ugo brought him to the Volotrum (also called The Dark Ones), his only remaining chance to be healed. The Listener, an apprentice of the Dark Ones – a human woman named Lian Fisher who crashed on Mars years ago – agreed to heal John, and apparently did so. In doing so, she has fallen into some kind of coma.

See, that’s kind of how Lian feels! Note she said “The stone is doing this…”

And we know she’s unconscious, right?

  3. John K

Nothing like the protection picking on you!!

  4. Og

This is great, Tom! Gorgeous panels… great stuff!

  5. noone

Hmmm she really looks like that without the mindstone.

  6. tdellaringa

Thanks Og :) You got it noone, that’s what she looks like without her mindstone.

I’m still struggling with drawing her in either form. Hopefully she’ll keep improving.

    Great job. ’nuff said. :)

alright, I have no idea what happened, but I will put faith in the stone. It’s doing it’s thang….

Things just got weird. Drawing the normal chick and the messed up Lian side by side seems truly bizarre.

  10. tdellaringa

Hehe, I hope weird isn’t bad. Stick with it here, hopefully things will make sense this week.

The weird is definitely not bad. The way you’ve drawn the stone girl makes her look completely and utterly insane so I can tell there will be great things to follow.
