Previously on Marooned…
While attempting to send a message to Earth, John fell ill. He returned to the Martian sanctuary Vita to administer antibiotics, which made him worse. Ugo has now brought him to the Volotrum (also called The Dark Ones), his only remaining chance to be healed.
Meanwhile, Asimov and Ril got trapped in a sandstorm and had taken sanctuary inside Captain John’s ship.

dat iz zee question, izn’t it?
asimov with a bit of german accent… hmm. that would be nice.
Well, he does have a few German parts…
This is where the soundtrack would get all suspensy and stuff. LOL. Loving the story so far.
See, this is why we need soundtracks to our comics! (Suspensy – nice word!)
Man, soundtracks to the comics would be KILLAH.
And I agree with Asimov – that IS the question.
I like this story. And tdellaringa’s right, we need a soundtrack.
Gasp! A thought just struck me: How old are these characters…
Ugo is old enough to drink. Ril isn’t.
I think Ugo is dating one of the Dark Ones, but that’s just my completely uninformed and wacky opinion, lol.
LOL, hey this ain’t a SOAP opera, it’s a SPACE opera!
Of course, there’s always…
SPACE SOAP! Specially designed for those dirty situations in Zero-G.
Think about it though! John can die, then you can introduce his twin brother that has been on Mars ALL ALONG! Dun DUN DUUUUN!
The rumourmonger says that strange and bizarre things happen when the different kinds of Martians breed with each other…
I think Ugo would be repulsed by the very idea!
“Settle yourself, girl…”
ha ha ha…
